Moon Party

Celebrate this day in 1969, when astronauts first stepped on the moon as part of the Apollo 11 mission. This lunar-focused event includes a conversation with an astronaut, an outdoor stargazing soundtrack provided by Peter Lucas, NASA footage projections, and telescopes to view the full moon. Three On Kawara date paintings from the Today series will be installed in the museum’s foyer.
